London Posse – ‘How’s Life in London’

Emerging in the mid-1980s, London Posse introduced a new level of British authenticity to Hip Hop. The pioneering collective — Rodney P, Bionic, Sipho the Human Beatbox and DJ Biznizz — drew inspiration from their travels abroad and experiences meeting people outside London. Following the release of their debut album ‘Gangster Chronicle’ in 1990, the group continued building their legacy with a string of singles, including ‘How’s Life in London’, released in 1993. The track painted a vivid picture of life in the city while challenging perceptions of the UK scene. Today, the song is still celebrated as a cornerstone of British rap history.
