DJ Scratch was recently knighted as Grandmaster by Kool Herc for a reason. The longtime DJ for EPMD, who has become a highly accomplished producer has been at the peak of his craft for nearly 30 years. For a Hot 97 show segment with DJ Enuff, Scratch literally kills it with a masterpiece set over LL Cool J’s 1985 classic Rock The Bells. Afterwards Scratch explains how he was inspired by Grandmaster Flash & how DJ-ing evolved over the years.
