The new episode of Unsung tells the story of Kid ‘n Play. The successful duo released 3 albums between 1988 & 1991: 2 Hype, Kid ‘n Play’s Funhouse & Face the Nation. Kid ‘n Play produced 2 #1 singles on the Billboard rap singles chart: Funhouse & Ain’t Gonna Hurt Nobody. Then the duo switched into acting careers and have starred together in five movies, all of them based around hip hop characters and themes.
