Tom Hardy meets CZARFACE for a full project?

Yep, you read that right. Tom Hardy is stepping away from the silver screen to revive his rap alter ego, Frankie Pulitzer, and jump back behind the mic. While Hardy has already linked up with CZARFACE on a handful of tracks over the past few years, this time he’s going all in. Frankie, a.k.a. Face Puller, will be joining the comic book-inspired crew for a full album titled “Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer.”
With well over a dozen studio albums under their belt, the trio of 7L, Esoteric and Wu-Tang’s Inspectah Deck have built a reputation as one of underground hip-hop’s most consistent acts. Along the way, they’ve also teamed up with legends like Ghostface Killah and the late MF DOOM for acclaimed collaborative projects favorited by many of their fans. Now, after spending several days teasing fans with cryptic social media posts asking, “Who the f* is Frankie?”, CZARFACE finally revealed what all the fuss was about and, with it, their intentions to expand their rich discography. If the freshly released single “Brothers Grimm” as the first taste is anything to go by, the announced project is shaping up to be one every true hip-hop head should have on their radar. Hardy as Frankie Pulitzer sounds completely at home trading bars with the CZAR cartel, and everybody involved doesn’t hold back their energy.
As if that wasn’t enough, the album also boasts guest appearances from Busta Rhymes, Method Man, and EL-P, adding even more lyrical firepower to an already stacked lineup. The only downside is we’ll have to wait until August 28 before we can hear the full project, but all things considered, it’ll definitely be worth the wait. Frankie’s style meshes perfectly with CZARFACE’s comic book universe, resulting in punchline-heavy and wordplay-driven hip-hop that proudly stays outside the cheesy mainstream spotlight while rewarding listeners with razor-sharp wordplay and rewind-worthy moments.
To accompany the announcement, CZARFACE have also launched a limited run of exclusive merchandise like vinyl records, CDs, and T-shirts. Judging by how quickly the stock is disappearing, you might not want to sleep on it — hit this link and secure your copy before it’s gone.
