The late, great J Dilla is rightfully celebrated as one of the greatest hip-hop producers of all time. Almost exactly a decade after his 2006 death, Jay Dee‘s mother Ma Dukes is proud to present another celebration of her son’s incredible life and legacy. The 2nd annual J Dilla Weekend festival will be held February 5th- 7th 2016 in the Wynwood section of Miami, FL. The inaugural J Dilla Weekend was a resounding success, and Ma Dukes looks forward to making it an annual tradition.
Additional artists will be announced as the event date approaches. In addition to performances from high-profile artists and DJs, J Dilla Weekend also features producer panels, BBQs, photo/art exhibits, record swaps, meet and greets, and other events celebrating Jay Dee‘s life and legacy.
