Alyssa Jane reinterprets the 1993 hook over a completely new track, where the R now signifies not Rules but represents the title “Cash Ruins Everything Around Me.” The song delves into the realities of money’s impact rather than its allure. The lead version, the (Inflation Remix), showcases the legendary Newark artist Redman collaborating with esteemed DJ Jean Maron partner and Boston mainstay, M-Dot.
