Dig Of The Day: Rappin’ Is Fundamental – Highway To Heaven (1991)

Simply brilliant.

We’re back with a heavily slept-on creative Hip-Hop trio known as Rappin’ Is Fundamental, a supergroup consisting of Easy Mo Bee, A.B. Money and JR, with today’s original track titled Highway To Heaven which appears on their ’91 debut and only album The Doo-Hop Legacy released on A&M Records.

They were influenced by vocal harmony groups like The Flamingos, added a great mixture of funky beats thanks to the legendary emcee/producer Easy Mo Bee, did a great work with lyrics, vocals and overall positive vibration as they were among one of the most sophisticated members of New York’s Hip-Hop culture.

Check out the previous Rappin’ Is Fundamental post.

Produced by Easy Mo Bee.
