Dig Of The Day: Deda – How I’m Livin (1995)

Some smooth sh*t 4 ya. How I’m Livin is one of those tracks to hang with ya crew, with ya honey, while cruisin’ around or in a party somewhere in 4 in the morn’. I remember back in 2008 when I went through the whole The Original Baby Pa album for the first time, with a “lil’ sum’ on the side” as the realness played on my headphones I was blown away with pure dopeness and vibe.

Deda is Pete Rock‘s cousin’ who’s completely Pete Rock produced debut LP was shelved in the mid 90’s but eventually saw release in 2003 through Rapster.

It was included on Lost & Found: Hip Hop Underground Soul Classics, a double LP of Pete Rock‘s mid-1990s production work, the other LP being InICenter Of Attention.
