DEFARI – TappedIN Mixtape Vol.1

A member of the Likwit Crew and one half of the duo Likwit Junkies, California’s DEFARI made his 2022 “TappedIN Mixtape Vol. 1“ available on his Youtube channel. “TappedIN Vol.1” is a soulful and a lively compilation, which is obvious from the get-go, with songs like “Surely Blessings“ and “I Don’t Deserve It“. It also manages to switch things up with funky tracks like “Sunset Fade, Low Tide“ and “Stuck Like Glue“. Defari sticks to topics of God and righteous living throughout most of the tape, brimming with positive energy. All in all, “TappedIN Vol 1.“ is a delightful release which beautifully blends hip-hop with soul, jazz, funk and gospel to produce a mellow, thoughtful experience.
