Danase & Tru Comers – “Retour”

The last time Danase and Tru Comers joined forces, their creativity and skill provided us with a fantastic studio project, “Premium 98;” one of my favorite releases of 2025. That boom bap trip last July was quite an experience, as the whole album carries all the elements of what we would consider real hip-hop: the lyrics, beats, production, and atmosphere—the whole nine yards.

More than a year later, they are teaming up again and releasing a brand new single called “Retour,” announcing a new album, “Camel Trophy,” set for the 20th of November. Needless to say, the single, with its represent vibes, is all you could expect from the Swiss trio; supported by a music video, it gives us a hint of the upcoming project, and it sounds just like it should. Yeah, yeah, yeah!
