Open Mike Eagle<\/strong> and Serengeti<\/strong> draw from the same well of creativity. While Serengeti<\/strong> has become an eccentric legend in his own right, collaborating with the likes of Sufjan Stevens & Son Lux<\/strong>, as well as creating incredible alternate realities with his Kenny Dennis<\/strong> projects, Open Mike Eagle<\/strong> has found himself hosting a national podcast, appearing on Comedy Central shows, all while being named LA Weekly’s Rapper of the Year. <\/p>\n

It was only a matter of time before their paths crossed to create something amazing from left field.
\nCavanaugh<\/strong> is the brainchild of the two, produced entirely by Open Mike Eagle<\/strong>. Their collaborative album, Time and Materials<\/em> is out. <\/p>\n
