Another one for the one and only Sean Price<\/strong>. Tomorrow’s Dig Of The Day<\/em><\/strong> will also be dedicated to Sean P<\/strong>, with a song ya’ll heard back in the day..<\/p>\n

The Fab 5<\/strong> consisted of Heltah Skeltah (Rock and Ruck)<\/strong> and O.G.C. (Starang Wondah, Louieville Sluggah and Top Dog)<\/strong>. The group joined the Boot Camp Clik<\/strong> and signed a record deal with Duck Down Records<\/strong> in 1995. <\/p>\n

They released their debut single Blah<\/em> b\/w Leflaur Leflah Eshoshka<\/em> later that year, with the B-Side Leflah becoming a surprise Billboard Hot 100 hit in 1995. The two groups split up to release separate debut albums in 1996, with Heltah Skeltah<\/strong> dropping Nocturnal<\/em> in June (including Leflah<\/em>), and O.G.C.<\/strong> dropping Da Storm<\/em> in October. <\/p>\n

Da Storm <\/em> did not feature a Fab 5<\/strong> track, and neither did Heltah Skeltah’s<\/strong> 1998 sophomore album Magnum Force<\/em>. <\/p>\n

Multiple Duck Down Records <\/strong> releases noted plans for a Fab 5<\/strong> album in the liner notes, with the album being named either Simply Fabulous<\/em> or Without the Freddy<\/em>. The album was never released, due to Rock<\/strong> leaving Duck Down Records<\/strong> in 1999 in pursuit of a solo career.<\/p>\n

Released on Priority Records<\/strong> in 1995.<\/p>\n
