Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, Semaj`<\/strong> remembers when Hip-Hop was not just about a shit load of money, cars, gang violence, half naked women and the men that disrespect them.<\/p>\n

Driven by the Hip-Hop revolution of the 80s and motivated by the golden era of the 90s, Semaj`<\/strong> has a nostalgic sound comparable to the greats. He has been inspired by musical pioneers such as Roy Ayers, Tito Puente, Sun Ra, Santana, Bob Marley, Eric B. & Rakim<\/strong> and Poor Righteous Teachers<\/strong>, just to name a few. After emceeing for several years and mastering his craft, he began producing music and teamed up with fellow emcee\/producer KwyitStorm<\/strong> to form The Instru-Mentalists<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The first solo release from Semaj`<\/strong> is Magnum Opus<\/em> which consists of 14 musical tracks, 7 interludes, 1 hidden track & digital artwork for each musical composition!
\nAll songs were conceived, written, produced (except where noted), engineered, mixed and mastered by Semaj<\/strong>` for The Instru-Mentalists<\/strong>. Also, all scratching, digital artwork is by Semaj`<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
