Stephen “Thundercat” Bruner<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Thundercat<\/strong>, well known for his collaboration with Kendrick Lamar<\/strong> in the role of a producer and instrumentalist for To Pimp A Butterfly<\/em>, is releasing new solo material. Check out his new music video for Them Changes<\/em>, a beautiful self produced track from his most recent mini-album The Beyond \/ Where the Giants Roam<\/em>. Many Hip Hop heads will recognize the Isley Brothers drum break<\/strong> at the start of the song, we all know from J Dilla’s<\/strong> Won’t Do<\/em> and many more tracks, yet Thundercat<\/strong> puts a thick bass groove under it, accompanied by minimalist melodic and harmony over it. The singing is silky and the song continues to open and progress, making this a fine gem for the soul-loving Hip Hop listener. Video’s pretty awesome, not to forget. Have a look, have a listen!<\/p>\n
