Ya’ll definitely gotta check this out. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard this few days ago. There’s also a video for this track I thought of postin’ but at one point volume goes down on the video and the audio is pretty raw, which ain’t that bad in this case.

Backlive<\/strong> was an underground Hip Hop group from Miami, Florida in the mid 1990s. The group consisted of rappers G Boy<\/strong>, Dekwan<\/strong> and DJ \/ Producer Mellow D<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

G Boy<\/strong> (Gil Green<\/strong>) also directed the video. 1000 MCs<\/em> was G Boy’s<\/strong> thesis film project while attending NYU’s Tisch School Of The Arts. The video debuted the Amount Boyz<\/strong> dancers from Fiorello H. La Guardia high school. <\/p>\n

This video aired on the last recorded episode of Yo! MTV Raps<\/strong>, BET’s Rap City<\/strong>, and The Box<\/strong>. 1000 MCs<\/em> (Vinyl, 12″) was released on Backlive Records<\/strong> in 1996.<\/p>\n
