DJ Premier will executive produce MC Eiht\u2019s upcoming 11th album, titled <em>Which Way Is West<\/em>. In addition to executive production duties on <em>Which Way Is West<\/em>, DJ Premier will release the album on his independent label, Year Round Records. <em>Which Way Is West<\/em> will feature production by DJ Premier, Marco Polo and other upcoming producers, as well as appearances by Year Round artists NYGz.<\/p>\n<p>MC Eiht rose to fame as a member of gangsta rap group Compton\u2019s Most Wanted, best known for three classic albums, <em>It&#8217;s a Compton Thang, Straight Checkn &#8216;Em<\/em> and <em>Music to Driveby<\/em>. He also had a starring role in the movie Menace II Society, which produced the single <em>Streiht Up Menace<\/em>.
