East coast production wizard DJ Premier has announced a new project with West Coast rap legend MC Eiht, of Compton\u2019s Most Wanted. DJ Premier will executive produce MC Eiht\u2019s upcoming 11th album, titled Which Way Is West<\/em>. In addition to executive production duties on Which Way Is West<\/em>, DJ Premier will release the album on his independent label, Year Round Records. Which Way Is West<\/em> will feature production by DJ Premier, Marco Polo and other upcoming producers, as well as appearances by Year Round artists NYGz.<\/p>\n

MC Eiht rose to fame as a member of gangsta rap group Compton\u2019s Most Wanted, best known for three classic albums, It’s a Compton Thang, Straight Checkn ‘Em<\/em> and Music to Driveby<\/em>. He also had a starring role in the movie Menace II Society, which produced the single Streiht Up Menace<\/em>. MC Eiht has released albums consistently over the past 15 years, including his last release Affiliated<\/em>, which hit stores in 2006.<\/p>\n
