This past Friday, December 14th, DJ Shadow was asked to step down from the decks at Mansion Nightclub<\/a> during the middle of his set. According to reports, the promoter said his set was “Too Futuristic”. Fans were not shy of voicing their dismay towards the club, shocked that the promoter would ask the legend to stop playing.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, Mansion Nightclub issued a public apology:<\/p>\n

We offer our most sincere apologies to DJ Shadow and his fans for his set being cut short at Mansion this past weekend. This error should not have happened and will not happen again, especially as we pride ourselves on creating an environment that cultivates and respects innovators such as DJ Shadow.
