A classic hip-hop moment was made Sunday night as Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg closed out the 2012 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. Two two rap heavyweights called in a few favors and brought a lost legend back to life on the main stage at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Opening with their classic \u201cThe Next Episode,\u201d the two west coast legends ran through hits such as \u201cGin & Juice,\u201d \u201cDeep Cover,\u201d and \u201cAin\u2019t Nuttin\u2019 But A G Thang.\u201d The first break featured a tribute to the late Nate Dogg, as Kurupt joined the stage for a performance of his classic \u201cAin\u2019t No Fun\u201d while a collage was featured on the main screen. Warren G also made an appearance before Snoop Dogg went into a solo set of his dual hits \u201cI Wanna Rock\u201d and \u201cDrop It Like It\u2019s Hot,\u201d Uncle Snoop then called on Wiz Khalifa to perform their \u201cYoung, Wild & Free\u201d smash collaboration.<\/p>\n

The wave of young talent continued as Kendrick Lamar joined for his new single with Dr. Dre \u201cThe Recipe\u201d as the two performed the song for the first-time ever. After brief silence, the violent sounds of \u201cWhat Up Gangsta\u201d blared as 50 Cent and Tony Yayo joined in for a G-Unit medley of \u201cP.I.M.P.\u201d and \u201cIn Da Club.\u201d What followed was the most shocking moment of the evening, after much rumors a hologram of the late Tupac Shakur appeared out of darkness as Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg each stood on the edges of the stage as the hologram figure performed \u201cHail Mary,\u201d and \u201c2 of Amerikkka\u2019s Most Wanted.\u201d An emotional moment for fans and viewers who streamed online. If the brief return of the Tupac Shakur wasn\u2019t enough, the sounds of \u201cI Need A Doctor\u201d began to play as Eminem appeared on stage to perform his feature on Dr. Dre\u2019s single before the two rocked the crowd with \u201cForget About Dre\u201d and \u201cTil\u2019 I Collapse.\u201d<\/p>\n

Without any stalls, the high energy show concluded with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre closing out the evening with \u201cWhat\u2019s My Name\u201d and \u201cStill D.R.E.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
