Foul Play was signed to Wild Pitch in the mid nineties, but their material got shelved when the label folded.
\nThe only \u201cofficial\u201d tracks that surfaced from this group are \u2018That\u2019s How It Be (Boo Yah)\u2019 on DJ Riz \u2013 In The Mix \u201997 and \u2018Black Cloud\u2019 on DJ Eclipse \u2013 Wild Pitch Blends.
\nFoul Play was closely affiliated with Heltah Skeltah; Roc is featured on the \u2018Boo Yah\u2019 hook and also makes an appearance on the Doo Wop freestyle (which many are mistaking for a Boo Yah demo cut).
\nAfter the issues with Wild Pitch, Foul Play reformed as Black Caesar and got a deal with Tommy Boy Records. \u201cWhat\u2019s Going On\u201d was featured on the Nothing To Lose soundtrack. They also recorded a self titled album. However, this music is far from the original material which can best be described as R&B-esq beats with decent rhymes.
