After MF DOOM and Madlib linked up for their critically acclaimed Madvillain album, Madlib remixed the project for Madvillainy 2: The Box. However, this was only released as part of a CD box set. Now, Stones Throw Records is officially releasing this project on vinyl.<\/p>\n

\u201cMadvillainy 2: The Madlib Remix was originally released in CD form in Madvillainy 2: The Box [in 2008] and released only with the box set. White labels of the vinyl have been kicking around for a while, but we finally decided to get it done right,\u201d Stones Throw toldSoul Culture in a statement.<\/p>\n

In getting it \u201cdone right,\u201d Stone Throw has released Madvillainy 2: The Madlib Remix double LP. The official vinyl release is accompanied by an mp3 download card. In addition to this, Stones Throw has added a mini-comic that continues the tale that was originally told in the duo\u2019s \u201cAll Caps\u201d video.<\/p>\n

This Madvillainy 2: The Madlib Remix vinyl release can be found at the Stones Throw store for $18.99. The album artwork has remained the same for this release and samples of the project can be heard at their store site before purchasing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
