Kazi unearthed an EP he did with Madlib back in 1996 called BLACKMARKET<\/em>. This EP was recorded at Madlib’s bedroom studio, Crate Diggas Palace<\/a> in Oxnard CA on reel-to-reel tape.<\/p>\n

Kazi’s first appearance on record was on Lootpack’s Soundpieces: Da Antidote<\/em> in 1999. The following year Kazi released the Madlib-produced EP Down For The Kaz<\/em> and appeared on Madlib’s Madlib Invazion<\/em> EP, both on Stones Throw.<\/p>\n
