It’s pretty unbelievable, but it’s happening – Canibus and DJ Premier are having beef over some words Premier said in a recent interview. Now here’s the story. A few days after VladTV interview, where DJ Premier talks about Canibus<\/a> not feeling the Devil\u2019s Pie beat (for those who don\u2019t know, D’Angelo’s track Devil\u2019s Pie was actually meant for Canibus, but he passed up on it), Canibus released a diss track as an answer to Premier (listen track below, download link after the jump) and tells Primo to tell the truth behind that whole Devil’s Pie story.<\/p>\n

As Premier’s fansite<\/a> reports,\u00a0same day as diss track, Canibus released an open letter to DJ Premier via the internet (read the letter after the jump), begging him not to let magazine writers and journalists frame the pictures wrong and divide the two.<\/p>\n

Premier announced<\/a> just earlier today via twitter that he’ll tell the truth tonight on his show Live at HQ.<\/p>\n

Let’s hope all this ends soon on a good note.<\/p>\n
