The New Skool Rules conference is happy to announce key note speakers Grammy winning Producer\/Songwriter Bryan M. Cox (US) and industry vet and innovator Sol Guy (CA).<\/p>\n

Bryan-Michael Cox. There\u2019s a lot to be said about Bryan-Michael Cox\u2019s accomplishments. At the age of twenty-six (26), Cox has become the only Music Producer to break the Beatles\u2019 record with The Most Consecutive #1 Hits on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. With over 280 consecutive hits on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, this record-breaking music producer is THE trendsetter for what\u2019s hot and what\u2019s not.<\/p>\n
Currently, Cox is working with Whitney Houston, JOE, Mary J. Blige, the Isley Brothers & more. An unprecedented venture deal with Warner Chappell Music is also in the works. Such a deal will allow Cox to award up and coming writers with low-risk publishing deals. He is also developing his own imprint with partner Chris Hicks called the BEAT FACTORY. Sol Guy – A modern day renaissance man Sol’s a creative in the true sense of the word – Social Entrepreneur, Artist Manager, Film and TV producer. Sol, a native of Canada, started his career as an MC and manager of the legendary Canadian hip hop group Rascalz. He then went on to work for Arista Records in New York City as director of International Artist Development and began traveling the world, charting and propelling the development of Global Hip Hop gaining inspiration from the countries and cultures he visited. Over the years Sol worked closely with some of the highest profile artists of our time such as Lauryn Hill,B.I.G. , P Diddy, India Arie, k-os, Rascalz, The Roots, Outkast, Kardinal Offishall, Dead Prez, and The Wu-Tang Clan. Sol Guy is the co-founder of Direct Current Media, and co-creator, co-producer, and host of 4REAL.<\/p>\n
His work with Somali born MC, Singer Songwriter K’naan has become a global success story. Recently spearheading a groundbreaking deal that paired K’naan, with Coca Cola for the companies massively successful $300 Million, 150 Country World Cup 2010 campaign.
