On that night in Las Vegas<\/strong>, the collision of heavyweight championship boxing, raw gang territorialism, and the high-rolling swagger of Death Row Records ended in a drive-by ambush that took the life of 25-year-old Tupac Shakur<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The evening started inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena<\/strong>, which hosted the WBA Heavyweight Championship bout billed as “Liberation<\/strong>,” featuring defending champion Bruce Seldon against challenger Mike Tyson. Shakur was in Las Vegas specifically to support Tyson, a friend with whom he formed a bond while both endured separate prison sentences. To commemorate the bout, Tupac recorded an exclusive ring-walk track titled “Let’s Get It On<\/strong><\/a>“.<\/p>\n
