In the third edition of Chuck D’s<\/strong> “Rap Central Station” magazine, German Hip-Hop historian Falk Schacht<\/strong> wrote a piece about the beginnings of Hip-Hop in Zagreb. One of the piece’s main points is the “Zagreb Rap Demo (1985-1992)” compilation, curated by Phat Phillie<\/strong> and Slavin Balen<\/strong>; who is also highlighted as the movement’s main character\u00a0 in it’s early days. A review of Phat Phillie’s book “Memory Lane – 40 Years of Hip-Hop” was also published in the same edition.<\/p>\n
