The city of Basel is proud to present another fine project that keeps hip-hop on the right side of the quality spectrum. Classic Der Dicke<\/strong>, an experienced MC who has been working for 20 years now, has teamed up with Xapfn<\/strong>, an upcoming artist on the Swiss scene, for a dope underground EP called “Jung und Dumm”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This collaboration gives us a nice contrast between two energy sources, both on the same level of delivery, effectively avoiding any excess in style differences. After all, this is a joint project, so it’s logical to avoid a situation where someone stands out too much. The chemistry between the two MCs is fantastic, so the whole EP project, mainly based on darker boom bap-ish instrumentals, with the track “Nutzlosi lines”<\/em> being the only exception with the beat style, creates an awesome atmosphere to vibe with. I’m pretty sure it’ll find its audience pretty fast as it bangs.<\/p>\n
