The group\u2019s sophomore album, &#8220;Coast II Coast,&#8221; is a quintessential, underrated gem in the vast West Coast Hip-Hop pantheon.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the notoriously spirited, hard partyin&#8217; West Coast trio are back together, releasing their first new album, &#8220;Daaam!&#8221;, in close to two decades, and they are \u201cAt It Again\u201d as they revisit a few of their classics, alongside five new tracks. You can lean into the new re-recorded versions of &#8220;Likwidation&#8221; favorite, \u201cHip Hop Drunkies,\u201d featuring <strong>Ol\u2019 Dirty Bastard<\/strong>, or 21 &amp; Over\u2019s \u201cOnly When I\u2019m Drunk,\u201d but then listen to the trio\u2019s new tracks like \u201cHands 2 The Ceiling\u201d or \u201cMJ PT. 2,\u201d as well as \u201cAt It Again,\u201d and it\u2019s almost like the influential trio never left; the hiatus that never happened.<\/p>\n<p>With appearances from special guests, <strong>Planet Asia<\/strong> and <strong>spookybands<\/strong>, &#8220;Daaam!&#8221; is both an intoxicating dose of 90s rap nostalgia, and an astonishing step into the future for Tha Liks &#8211; and it&#8217;s sometimes both, simultaneously. For golden age rap connoisseurs, a new album from Tha Alkaholiks is a welcome and surprise treat; and it\u2019s no surprise that Tha Alkaholiks still make you say &#8220;Daaam!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bottom\u2019s Up!!
