It\u2019s been almost over a year already and we still miss him\u2026..<\/p>\n

The Beat Junkies, with the support of VTech<\/a>, threw a tribute to our dear friend, the late great Grandmaster Roc Raida of the X-Ecutioners this past September. The actual event was exactly a year after the date he was buried: Sept 24th, 2009. We were able to have some members of the X-Ecutioners participate in the event, as well as having Roc Raida\u2019s family in the house. His daughter DJ NyRaida performed a set in tribute to her father.<\/p>\n

If you were in LA for this event, you were able to witness something very magical. And for those who didn\u2019t get to experience it, and those who want to relive it, we present this video. Mochilla sat with the Junkies and X-Ecutioners and tried to remember Raida not in a sad way but in a celebratory way.<\/p>\n

As MF Grimm says \u201cAnyone who knows Raida knows that the energy that he possessed he was able to transfer to you \u2013 and once he did nobody could tell you anything\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
