(hiphopdx.com<\/a>) DJ Premier has announced that he\u2019s launched his own record store, in celebration of the vinyl medium that enhances his and so many other Hip Hop DJs\u2019 careers.<\/p>\n

Taking on Instagram<\/a> on Monday (May 6), the legendary turntablist announced that his new business venture is in partnership with his longtime manager, Ian Schwartzmann.<\/p>\n

\u201cNEW BUSINESS ALERT: My manager and business partner @ianschwartzman and I started our own digital record store,\u201d he wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy passion for excavations, collectibles, vinyl, proof presses, cassettes, CDs and merchandise inspired us to bring this project to life. It\u2019s not just for me and our TTT releases either, it\u2019s bigger and will also be the home of original music collectibles for all my peers.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
