Doctor Ice, born Fred Reeves told the New York Post that he is &#8220;shellshocked&#8221;. &#8220;My nerves are through the roof,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Passengers raced toward Reeves&#8217; car attempting to gain entry as a fight between Younece Obuad and DaJuan Robinson escalated to gunfire.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;You don&#8217;t expect to hear gunshots in the car of your train,&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>said Reeves to <em>Pix11<\/em>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I&#8217;m thankful that we were able to help as many passengers as we could. On a scale of one to ten this was a 15 as far as being traumatic &#8220;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Passengers wanted to pull the emergency cord, but Reeves warned that would cause a delay in getting help. &#8220;We say don&#8217;t pull that, because if you pull it we&#8217;re stuck in the tunnel,&#8221; he explained. \u201cSo, I closed the door, and I\u2019m talking to my supervisors: \u2018This is 16-18, apple, Lefferts, 2-7, coming into Hoyt-Schermerhorn, we need police and emergency service. I\u2019m thinking it was fight because the people flooded my position because it\u2019s in my car but not my cab.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sgznqfHTSfU?si=FR-kuPeGDc1RiOU3\" width=\"100%\" height=\"500\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Reeves says that he no longer feels safe at work, and isn&#8217;t sure when he will return. \u201cBullets don\u2019t have no name,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd this ain\u2019t no bulletproof cab, so I got to duck down and hope that the person is not shooting anywhere.
