New Jersey’s emcee of Colombian origin CRIMEAPPLE<\/strong> teamed up with the producer Preservation<\/strong> from neighbouring New York to bring us a full length release El Le\u200b\u00f3n<\/em>. The 11-track album is brimming with hard rhymes, complimented by outstanding production which manages to add both refinement and intensity to the songs. CRIMEAPPLE’s roots are often nodded to by Latin samples throughout the album. El Le\u00f3n<\/em> manages to produce a somber tone, as well, in the form of “Cuanto Te Quiero” and a soulful sound on tracks like “Fumemos” and “Bulevar”.<\/p>\n
