Originally released on June 3rd, 1997, Coalmine Reissues<\/strong> in partnership with 420 Music<\/strong> is pleased to announce this first ever reissue of Teflon<\/strong>\u2019s debut LP, My Will<\/em>.<\/p>\n

As a member of M.O.P.<\/strong>\u2019s First Family<\/strong>, Teflon first made his bones in the late \u201990s New York rap scene where he was first heard on M.O.P\u2019s sophomore offering, Firing Squad<\/em>. The following year, Teflon would go onto release his debut effort. Standing at ten tracks, the album allowed for fans to further discover the artistic range of the gruff-voiced lyricist hailing from Brownsville.<\/p>\n

My Will<\/em> is a promising first effort that preceded the Brooklyn rapper\u2019s buzz, which would reach its pinnacle in 2000 for his appearance on M.O.P’s “Ante Up (Remix)\u201d<\/em> alongside Busta Rhymes<\/strong> and then fledgling star, Remy Ma<\/strong>. This cameo led to a deal with Def Jam Recordings<\/em> failed to see the light of day, and the Brooklyn rapper took a much needed hiatus from the industry. Teflon staged his triumphant return in 2023 with his well-received sophomore LP, 2 Sides To Every Story<\/em>, produced by both DJ Premier<\/strong>, and the talented up and comer, Jazimoto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This vinyl reissue boasts a few enhancements from the original pressing, which includes matte finished jackets equipped with an artwork overhaul that features an updated rear cover, along with a Coalmine-inspired flip of the original center labels all designed by Frank \u2018DJ Concept\u2019 DeMaria<\/strong>. Vinyl is pressed on red and black swirl discs and limited to just 300 units. Orders are ready to ship upon purchase!<\/a><\/p>\n
