Buffalo-born, BSF <\/strong>member, Heem<\/strong>, documents life in the trenches, with an acute attention to detail, unfiltered honesty, and a sharp sense of humor. Heem <\/strong>depicts moments of pain, transformation, and triumph with his sophomore BSF <\/strong>project, and new full-length LP, From The Cradle To The Game<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Thriving in his closer role, Heem <\/strong>put a bow on BSF<\/strong>\u2019s 2020 with his Long Story Short<\/em> project with Green Lantern & DJ Shay<\/strong>. Curated and championed by the late, great DJ Shay <\/strong>and hosted by DJ Green Lantern<\/strong>, Long Story Short<\/em> featured appearances from Benny The Butcher<\/strong>, Rick Hyde<\/strong> & Boldy James<\/strong>, along with production from DJ Shay<\/strong>, Jansport J<\/strong>, and DJ Green Lantern<\/strong>. More recently, Heem <\/strong>appeared on the standout track from BSF<\/strong>\u2019s Long Live DJ Shay<\/em> project, Times Is Rough<\/em>, which also featured Benny The Butcher<\/strong> and Rick Hyde<\/strong> and was produced by DJ Premier<\/strong>.

\nFrom The Cradle To The Game<\/em> features appearances and production from Benny The Butcher<\/strong>, Conway The Machine<\/strong>, Stove God Cooks<\/strong>, Styles P<\/strong>, Jansport J<\/strong>, DJ Green Lantern<\/strong>, and the Black Soprano Family<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cMy life is music\u201d Heem explains. “There\u2019s so much truth. I\u2019ve gone through a lot, and the title of my album is named after these real-life experiences.\u201d
\nAlong the way, Heem <\/strong>assembled what would eventually become From The Cradle To The Game<\/em>. \u201cI came up a good child, went over the line, and jumped into the game\u201d Heem <\/strong>observes. \u201cI went from the street game to the rap game. I\u2019m a little more seasoned, and this is ready to go. Now, it\u2019s all over\u201d he grins. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

To celebrate the release of From The Cradle To The Game<\/em>, Heem <\/strong>also released a new visual for Mob Business<\/strong>, which features BSF <\/strong>capo Benny The Butcher<\/strong> and Styles P<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition to releasing From The Cradle To The Game<\/em>, Heem <\/strong>is also on the road supporting his BSF <\/strong>family member Benny The Butcher<\/strong> and his Thank God I Made It Tour<\/em>; and will also be supporting on the International leg of the tour as well; with stops in Ireland, Germany, Greece, Israel, Poland and more. <\/p>\n
