Earlier this month, the Bronx-born, Brooklyn-raised emcee unveiled a new single titled <em>\u201cThis Is New York,\u201d<\/em> an aggressive effort that takes inspiration from the late legend <strong>DMX<\/strong>. As such, <strong>Scar Lip<\/strong> used the booming production to send a scathing message to both visiting tourists and feeble residents alike.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThis is New York, f**k I look like tellin\u2019 a n**ga good mornin\u2019? F**k I look like bein\u2019 nice, sweet, charmin\u2019, and warmin\u2019? Get the f**k out New York, you ain\u2019t welcomed anymore, get the f**k out New York, we ain\u2019t feelin\u2019 you no more, back the f**k up! Move the f**k back!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201c<em>This Is New York<\/em>\u201d also boasts a matching visual that comes courtesy of <strong>WhoTheWizz<\/strong>. Viewers will see the rising star mobbing heavily in different locations within Harlem, including on Frederick Douglass Boulevard and the nearby St. Nicholas Houses.
