Another dope tape from Slavin Balen<\/strong>‘s “Rap Attack<\/em>” Radio 101 shows archives from Zagreb. This was June 1989 and Slavin<\/strong> invited DJ<\/strong> Zvonko Ko\u017ei\u0107<\/strong> (now known as DJ Xed<\/strong>) to come by the show and give away a few tickets for his Sunday “Hip Hop Night<\/em>” event at club KSET<\/strong>. They were also giving away tickets for a Friday night “101 Press”<\/em> Rap night that Slavin<\/strong> DJ’d weekly right after his radio show. Zagreb had two Hip-Hop club nights the same week in 1989, WOW! Goran Vlaji\u0107 (DJ Go Cut)<\/strong> called in the show and got tickets for the party by knowing the name of Stetsasonic’s<\/strong> 1st 12″ single on Tommy Boy<\/strong>. On the show Slavin<\/strong> played Neneh Cherry, Public Enemy, De La Soul,<\/strong> Tone Loc, Stetsasonic, Cash Money & Marvelous, Big Daddy Kane, Derek B, 2 Live Crew<\/strong>… Enjoy this ’89 gem!<\/p>\n
