Jolicoeur, who co-founded the New York hip-hop trio <strong>De La Soul<\/strong> with fellow group members <strong>Kelvin \u201cPosdnuos\u201d Mercer<\/strong> and <strong>Vincent Lamont \u201cMaseo\u201d Mason Jr,<\/strong> unfortunately, lost his life on February 12, 2023, at 54 years old. The event, called <em>The<\/em> <em>D.A.I.S.Y. Experience<\/em> and produced together with Amazon Music, brought out some of the most respected names in Hip Hop including,<strong> Queen Latifah<\/strong>, who performed an impromptu version of <em>\u201cLadies<\/em> <em>First<\/em>,\u201d <strong>Common<\/strong>, who performed \u201c<em>The<\/em> <em>Bizness<\/em>\u201d with <strong>De La Soul, Talib Kweli, Chuck D, Dave Chapelle, Black Thought, Q-Tip<\/strong> and more. This event showed us that <strong>De La Soul is not dead.
