As 2023 marks the 50th<\/sup> anniversary of Hip-Hop, it should be noted that Grammy legends Kool & the Gang<\/strong> stand as the most sampled band within the Hip-Hop music culture.<\/p>\n

According to the Who Sampled<\/strong> website, there are 1,898 documented samples of Kool & the Gang\u2019s<\/strong> songs. The top being the classic instrumentals \u201cN.T.\u201d<\/em> from their 1971 album, \u201cLive At P.J.\u2019s\u201d<\/em> and their longtime hit, \u201cSummer Madness\u201d,<\/em> off the \u201cLight Of Worlds\u201d disc (1974).<\/div>\n
