Dr Dre<\/strong>\u2019s magnum opus \u2018The Chronic<\/em>\u2019 celebrates its 30th anniversary with a February 1st return to streaming services via Interscope records<\/strong>, the album\u2019s original distributor.<\/p>\n

First released on December 15, 1992, on Death Row Records\/Interscope, <\/strong>The Chronic<\/em> peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and has spent 97 weeks on the chart since its release. The album also spawned three top 40 hits on the Hot 100, including top ten records with \u201cNuthin\u2019 But a \u201cG\u201d Thang<\/em>\u201d (No. 2) featuring Snoop Dogg<\/strong> and \u201cF\u2014 Wit Dre Day<\/em>\u201d (No. 8). The Chronic<\/em> topped the Top R&B\/Hip-Hop Albums chart for eight weeks, while \u201cNuthin\u2019 But a \u201cG\u201d Thang<\/em>\u201d hit No. 1 for two weeks on Hot R&B\/Hip-Hop Songs.<\/p>\n
