STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 New York Hip-Hop royalty was in the house at the St. George Theatre Saturday as a group of artists headlined by Busta Rhymes, the LOX, Funkmaster Flex and the Wu-Tang Clan\u2019s Raekwon thrilled the near-1,000 people in attendance.<\/p>\n

The event, dubbed \u201cLegacy of Hip-Hop Stop the Violence Concert\u201d was put on by the K Woods Foundation and the Waterteam seeking to put an end to the violence in the community amidst the recent uptick in crime; and who better to communicate that than these names, all of which have had long careers that have spanning over three decades.<\/p>\n
