Mass Appeal<\/strong> announced that DJ Premier<\/strong>‘s Hip Hop 50 Volume 1<\/em> – the 1st EP as part of Hip Hop 50: The Soundtrack<\/em> – will be released today (July 15th). Produced by the legendary DJ Premier<\/strong>, the 5-track project will celebrate the sounds of one of Hip Hop\u2019s most prolific producers and include all-new, original music from Nas, Lil Wayne, Run The Jewels, Joey Bada$$, Remy Ma, Rapsody & Slick Rick<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Announced last year, The Soundtrack<\/em> will encompass a series of 10 EPs of all newly released music that will bring together the industry\u2019s most highly regarded producers who are defining the culture in celebration of 50 years of Hip Hop. Following DJ Premier<\/strong>\u2019s EP release, we can expect new music curated by Swizz Beatz, Mustard, The-Dream, Mike Will Made It, No I.D., Hit-Boy, Take A Daytrip & Tainy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
