Producer Chucky Thompson<\/strong>, best known for his work for Bad Boy Records<\/strong> has died. The news were confirmed by Chucky<\/strong>‘s collaborator and mentee Young Guru<\/strong>. As per AllHipHop<\/a> the passing comes after a battle with COVID-19.<\/p>\n

Thompson<\/strong> was a member of Diddy<\/strong>\u2019s Hitmen<\/strong> production team. In addition to Thompson<\/strong>, the original squad included Easy Moe Bee & Deric \u201cD-Dot\u201d Angeletti <\/strong>(aka The Madd Rapper<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Besides his Bad Boy work, Thompson<\/strong> worked on hits for Usher, Faith Evans, TLC, Busta Rhymes & Juvenile. He produced The Notorious B.I.G.<\/strong>\u2019s Big Poppa<\/em>, Nas<\/strong>\u2019 One Mic<\/em>, and he received a Grammy nomination for Mary J. Blige\u2019s classic 1994 album, My Life<\/em>.<\/p>\n

He recently helped produce tracks for Diddy<\/strong>\u2019s upcoming album Off The Grid Volume 1<\/em>, due to be released on September 24.<\/p>\n
