More sad news is coming out of the Hip Hop community. A Hip-Hop pioneer Captain Rock<\/strong> has passed away. Most known for his 1984 single Cosmic Blast<\/em> (NIA Records), Captain Rock started as a DJ for Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde <\/strong>under the moniker DJ Ronnie Green<\/strong>. Other notable records were Bongo Beats<\/em> & You Stink<\/em>. Slavin Balen<\/strong> used to play him on his Electro Funk Premijera \/ Rap Attack<\/em> show a lot back in the day. Check out one of Slavin<\/strong>‘s Radio 101<\/em> shows from 1987 where he played Capt. Rock<\/strong>‘s single Bongo Beat<\/em>:
