Joe Conzo, Jr.<\/strong> captured African-American and Latino life in the South Bronx, New York between 1976 and 1984. Known worldwide as “The Man Who Took Hip-Hop’s Baby Pictures,” Conzo<\/strong> photographed early performances by the Cold Crush Brothers & Grandmaster Flash<\/strong>, plus other moments that defined the genre’s history.<\/p>\n

Conzo<\/strong> co-authored Born In The Bronx: A Visual Record of the Early Days of Hip Hop<\/em> in 2007, which has long been out of print. In partnership with Beyond the Streets<\/strong>, 1XRUN<\/strong> proudly give Conzo<\/strong>‘s book a freshly expanded edition for exclusive release.<\/p>\n

To celebrate the book launch, 1XRUN<\/strong> curated a special Born In The Bronx<\/em> capsule collection of signed copies, limited streetwear, and fine art editions featuring Conzo<\/strong>‘s timeless images.<\/p>\n
