Renowned Hip Hop collective Diggin\u2019 In The Crates crew members A.G. (Andre the Giant) and O.C. are set to release their highly anticipated collaborative album, OASIS.
\nThe joint LP will feature D.I.T.C. crew members Showbiz (also an executive producer) and Lord Finesse, as well as Statik Selektah.
\nNot only crew members, but also long time friends, A.G. and O.C. were inspired to put out a collaborative album since recording the 2001 memorable track \u201cWeed & Drinks\u201d, which was featured on O.C.\u2019s Bon App\u00e9tit. \u201cIt was organic cause the chemistry was also so crazy,\u201d said O.C.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Growing up across the street from legendary lyricist Pharaoh Monch, Queens crew member O.C. was introduced to rhyming and eventually dropped his first debut on Organized Konfusion\u2019s timeless classic \u201cFudge Pudge\u201d in 1991.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, D.I.T.C. emcee A.G. was invited to a Rap battle during school against Lord Finesse, producer of Notorious B.I.G.\u2019s \u201cSuicidal Thoughts\u201d and Dr. Dre\u2019s \u201cThe Message\u201d, which landed him in Finesse\u2019s studio after impressing him with his punch lines.<\/p>\n

After 10 years and over ten albums later, D.I.T.C. members O.C. and A.G., as well as Showbiz, Diamond D, Lord Finesse, Fat Joe, O.C., Buckwild, and the late Big L, have held it down for the east coast, achieving success collectively and independently as hip hop emcees, deejays and producers.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me, it\u2019s the passion. When you\u2019re passionate about something you stay inspired, through the good and the bad,\u201d said A.G. The OASIS LP will be released on November 24 via Nature Sounds\/D.I.T.C. Records.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
