1520<\/strong> pronounced Fifteen Twenty is a collaborative project from pioneer veteran M.C. Nomadic Poet<\/strong> founder of the Hip Hop crew The Planets<\/strong>, and producer maestro Drematic XL<\/strong>. The project is rooted in the original hip hop format of one DJ\/Producer and one MC. Inspired by groups like Gang Starr and Eric B and Rakim.<\/p>\n The album Mosquito Fly and Starships<\/em> is a soulful sonic rollercoaster ride infused with topical intricate thought provoking lyrics which are introspective social and spiritual at the same time.<\/p>\n Hip Hop wordsmiths such as Mr Voodoo (Natural Elements), Illogic, Juice, Vodka<\/strong> and others hop on the journey to add their unique twist to the audio adventure.<\/p>\n This is an exclusive limited pre-release with additional tracks included which will not appear on the general release dropping early 2020. \nThe name 1520<\/strong> stems from the birthplace of Hip Hop 1520 Sedgewick Ave South Bronx. Drematic XL<\/strong> was a key dj on Itch FM London\u2019s first 24 hour all Hip Hop pirate radio station in the early 2000’s going by the moniker dj Illout<\/strong> at the time. This is how the two initially first met and connected maintaining a mutual friendship and love for the culture.<\/p>\n
