Paten Locke<\/strong> was born in Boston before moving to Chicago. He eventually relocated to Jacksonville where his music took off. He joined Asamov <\/strong>a.k.a. The ABs (The Alias Brothers)<\/strong> and was instrumental in developing that city\u2019s nascent hip-hop scene. The crew released their sole album And Now<\/em> in 2005, earning them considerable global critical acclaim.<\/p>\n

As the \u201900s drew to a close, Paten Locke<\/strong> dropped his first solo album, Super Ramen Spaceship <\/em>(2009), and his first collaborative album with Maurer<\/strong>, Studies in Hunger<\/em> (2009).<\/p>\n

Among his collaborations is the extensive work with Dres<\/strong> of Black Sheep <\/strong>for his solo efforts and world tours as the on-stage partner of Edan<\/strong>. Last year he remixed nearly the entirety of the Resolution<\/em> album by The Perceptionists (Akrobatik & Mr. Lif)<\/strong>, giving it a dusty makeover as Low Resolution<\/em>.<\/p>\n
