I remember the early morning 2 years ago when I found out the sad news and made  a post about it <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackouthiphop.com\/rest-in-peace-phife-dawg-a-tribe-called-quest\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">here on Blackout<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Yeah, 2 years ago we lost one of the Hip-Hop greats, a  brilliant and unique emcee, a legend, a huge sports fan and  a great lyricist, the funky diabetic and the very dear <strong>Five Foot Assassin Malik Isaac Taylor<\/strong> aka <strong>Phife Dawg<\/strong> (November 20, 1970 \u2013 March 22, 2016), who we all remember with joy as he was a highly influental Hip-Hop figure and a member of  <strong>A Tribe Called Quest<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;re listening to the original unreleased version (probably recorded in &#8217;99) of <strong>Phife<\/strong> and <strong>Dilla<\/strong>&#8216;s magic. Brilliance on rewind.
