With their sixth album on the horizon, the Michigan-based crew, Dezert Eez deliver the crazy-smooth and laid-back lead single, \u201cRolex Dreamin’.\u201d The track is anchored by tack-sharp verses from the group\u2019s members in addition to a slick opening feature from Brooklyn\u2019s own, Talib Kweli.<\/p>\n

Of course, anyone who\u2019s been following Dezert Eez since their 2005 debut mixtape, ‘The Realness,’ knows these guys and Kweli are a perfect musical match. That\u2019s particularly true of Hip-Hop heads who favor technical prowess and an ear for top-notch production. And if not, then consider yourself pretty damn lucky, because \u201cRolex Dreamin\u201d is one hell of an introduction to the trio of 5-Star, Nivek, and O\u2019Nill.<\/p>\n

Their new track glides with that chill-slapper vibe that listeners fond of the Rawkus era will surely fawn over\u2014and Kweli\u2019s appearance only drives that point home. He sounds just as confident over the jazzy Thovo production, as his hosts, who enjoy some fine greenery and drinks while doing \u201cking\u2019s work.\u201d<\/p>\n
