A GoFundMe page was also created days before his passing.<\/p>\n<p>During the band&#8217;s heyday of the mid-to-late &#8217;80s, they had several big hits including &#8220;Tears,&#8221; &#8220;Love Is A House&#8221; and &#8220;Tender Love,&#8221; which was featured in the 1985 film &#8220;Krush Groove,&#8221; starring some of the biggest rap acts of the time including Kurtis Blow, Run DMC, The Fat Boys, L.L. Cool J and Jekyll and Hyde. Sheila E. and New Edition also appeared in the film.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Love Is a House,&#8221; reached the No. 1 spot on Billboard&#8217;s R&amp;B Singles Chart in September of 1987.<\/p>\n<p>The number of group members fluctuated over the years, but the band originally consisted of three brothers: Stevie D., Antoine &#8220;T.C.D.&#8221; Lundy, and Rodney &#8220;Khalil&#8221; Lundy, along with their uncle Jessie Lee Daniels.
