Today we have one of my favourite <strong>Das EFX<\/strong> tracks which I used to bump every day for months. It&#8217;s unique in it&#8217;s own way no doubt. Hailing from  Brooklyn, NY (<strong>Skoob<\/strong>) and Teaneck, NJ (<strong>Drayz<\/strong>), they got together and formed <strong>Das EFX<\/strong> while in college at Virginia State University. The first part of the group name <strong>Das<\/strong> stands for &#8220;<strong>Dray<\/strong> and <strong>Skoob<\/strong>&#8221; and the &#8220;<strong>EFX<\/strong>&#8221; meaning &#8220;effects&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>Back in the early 90&#8217;s they became known due to their affiliation with <strong>EPMD&#8217;s Hit Squad<\/strong>, after coming in second place at a talent contest judged by <strong>EPMD<\/strong> and due to their stream of consciousness lyrical delivery, which became one of the most influential lyrical styles in Hip-Hop at the time.
